Chairwoman of the Board
Kathy joined Teachscape in 2010 and served as CEO from 2011 to 2014, then as Chief Client Services Officer focused on developing highly effective services and support on behalf of Teachscape's clients.
Kathy brought to her role substantial experience in growing cloud-based businesses, having successfully served as CEO of AllBusiness.com, an online resource center for small businesses; president and chief operating officer of CBS MarketWatch, a real-time financial news and information enterprise; and CEO of Knight Ridder’s New Media division. She holds a B.A. in economics from Trinity College and an M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
Chief Executive OfficerTeachscape
Andrew joined Teachscape in 2014, bringing extensive experience in K–12 education, technology, investment banking, and law.
He served as Founder and CEO of Cognitive Concepts, where he created the Earobics programs. Andrew was CEO of Smarterville, the owner of Hooked on Phonics, Sunburst Education, and Reading Rainbow. He was president of Class.com and Lincoln National Academy.
Andrew formerly practiced law with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and was an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
Andrew holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and a law degree from University of California, Berkeley.
Paul is a principal at ABS Capital, whose investment interests and experience include business services, health care, and software companies. In addition to serving on the board of Teachscape, he currently represents ABS Capital on the boards of Skinit, Source Medical Solutions, and Superior Vision Services. He is also a board observer of Pathology, Inc.
Paul has worked with several prior ABS portfolio companies, including Cobalt Group (acquired by Automatic Data Processing) and Print Inc. (acquired by Pitney Bowes). Prior to joining ABS Capital in 2003, Paul worked in the technology investment banking divisions of Robertson Stephens and SoundView Technology Group (acquired by Charles Schwab), where he worked on numerous public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and capital-raising transactions. Paul is a graduate of Stanford University.

Phil is a managing general partner at ABS Capital Partners, whose investment interests and experience include business services companies. He currently represents ABS Capital on the boards of eFashionSolutions, LLC; Liquidity Services, Inc.; Payformance Corporation; Rosetta Stone, Inc.; Renew Data Corp.; and Restaurant Technologies, Inc. Phil also serves on the board of American Public Education, Inc., a former ABS portfolio company. He previously served on the boards of Advanced Disposal Services, Inc. and Rainmaker Systems, Inc.
Prior to joining ABS Capital in 2001, Phil gained operating experience from his years at SITEL Corporation, the global leader in providing outsourced call-center services to large corporations, where he was chief executive officer and president from 1998 to 2001.
Paul served in the United States Army from 1983 to 1988, rising to the rank of Captain in 1987.

Robert joined Sprout Group as a general partner in May 1991, when Sprout assumed management of two public venture capital funds originated by Merrill Lynch, and became co-managing partner in November 2003. He joined Merrill Lynch Venture Capital in 1984 and became a partner in 1985. In addition to being a Teachscape board member, Robert serves on the board of the Cleantech Group. Other Sprout investments include: Aspen Education Group (CRC Health Group), Aurora Networks, Calix Networks, CommVault, Concur Technologies, CyOptics, Edison Schools, Inference, Intercept, LeftHand Networks, Network Equipment Technologies, Photon Dynamics, Platinum Software (Epicor), Pyxis, Risk Data (HNC Software), Silicon Design Labs (Mentor Graphics), Trade Beam Holdings, U.S. Paging (SkyTel), and Watchfire (IBM). Previously, Robert was an associate with Menlo Ventures and served as a consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
He attended Harvard Business School (M.B.A., Baker Scholar, Loeb Rhoades Fellow) and Lehigh University (B.S. with highest honors, M.S., Byllesby Fellow).
